Playa De San Marcos is located in the north of Tenerife on the border to the Isla Baja, it belongs to the municipality of Icod De Los Vinos. It can be reached both by car via the TF-5 and by bus line 362 from Icod De Los Vinos.

Playa De San Marcos is originally a fishing village, in the small harbor there are still the traditional wooden fishing boats. The catch is enough to supply the surrounding restaurants with fresh fish.

You can swim on the sheltered beach even in winter, while other beaches have long been closed due to strong waves. The beach is well-kept and the water is clear. Showers and sanitary facilities are available, couches can be rented, access is barrier-free.

San Marcos offers a variety of restaurants and eateries, whether coffee or beer, fresh fish with papas arrugadas or pizza, football on TV screen or view to the Atlantic, there is something for every taste and occasion!
